PraxisAuril is recognised as one of the world’s leading professional associations for knowledge exchange and commercialisation (KE) practitioners. KE practitioners are the specialist intermediaries who work with researchers, funders and businesses to ensure that investment in research has economic and social outcomes.

PraxisAuril is a critical advocate for the KE profession and exists to develop and promote best practice by ensuring that its members are among the most highly-skilled, best-informed, forward-thinking and well-connected KE practitioners anywhere in the world.

We are seeking to appoint a Marketing Communications Manager who will shape and implement a multi-channel communications strategy to: drive sales for PraxisAuril’s products and services; profile its advocacy and stakeholder engagement activities; and increase awareness of the work of its member organisations, nationally and internationally.

The successful applicant will have a deep understanding of customer-focus and service and:

- a track record (5 years+) of marketing communications, campaign design and delivery

- demonstrate a wide range of skills, from budgets and strategic planning, PR and media management, to creative copy-writing and proof reading

- be able to communicate confidently and effectively with a variety of target audiences, including PraxisAuril’s members, stakeholder organisations, volunteer contributors and external suppliers

- enjoy working in a small, flexible team and be pro-active, delivery focussed and ‘hands-on.’

An eye for detail, superb organisational and IT skills and a ‘can-do’ attitude are pre-requisites for this role.  Experience of working in a membership-based organisation would be an advantage.

This post is 37.5 hours per week.  Flexible working hours, location and applications for job share will be considered.  Competitive salary.  Interviews will be held at our Cambridge office week beginning 13 August.

Please email your CV and a covering letter including your salary expectations by 9.00am on Monday 30 July to maxine.ficarra@praxisauril.org.uk.
