Forge Operative IFAA67530

Our client is a premium supplier of high integrity forged products to quality markets globally. They have created a fully integrated metals service centre which has grown to be a leading provider of open-die quality forgings, making safety critical components in service conditions from the deepest oceans to outer space. Their flexibility and scale of operations means that they can provide both highly specialised “one-off” forgings as well as volume production.

They are looking for a Forge Operative to join the team on a permanent, full time basis where you will work as part of the Open Die Hammer team. You will be responsible for the driving of the hammer and should be experienced in operating a hammer for forging ideally rings. You will work 35 hours per week basic and they offer overtime as required.

Within the role you may work on a rotational basis operating other equipment and in other forging positions as required.

Our client is looking for someone who has experience driving an open die hammer, can operate a FLT licence has experience of working with hot metal. Over head Crane experience might be an advantage.
