My client are a Leading Global Communications provider based in South Manchester. They have a combined turnover of GBP130M with employees and offices across the globe. They're looking to hire a Management Accountant to join a team of three in the mgt accounts team and report into the Senior Management Accountant in a busy Finance Department of 15. The role is an excellent opportunity for someone who is newly qualified or finishing their studies, it will offer a broad range of experience, exposure and responsibility, whilst requiring someone to be able to get into the detail to ensure accuracy.

Role responsibilities include, but not limited to:

• Preparation of monthly management accounts, including full analysis and commentary
• Monthly accruals and prepayments
• Balance sheet reconciliations
• Close management of revenue recognition and job costs
• Monthly cost centre meetings
• Budget management
• Business partnering
• Team supervision

The candidate is required to have / be:

• Finalist/Newly Qualified
• Minimum 5 years in industry
• Experience in management accounts preparation
• Excellent excel and analytical skills
• Experience in process review
• Well organised to ensure monthly deadlines are met
• Strong communication skills
• Hard working and self-motivated
• Methodical and high attention to detail

The salary for the role is up to GBP30,000 base + benefits and career progression.
