Joining our Bristol plant as Senior Process Engineer, you will provide expert technical support to production and the Quality and Process team which will facilitate real and measurable improvements in the capacity, yield and cost of plasterboard manufacturing processes. You will be responsible for long term process support to the manufacturing operation, process project implementation, process trials, variable cost reduction and plant process stability with the aim of OEE and cost improvement.
The Senior Process Engineer will also manage a Quality and Process Engineer and a Graduate Process Engineer and be responsible for supporting them in their roles and achieving their targets.
So if you are qualified to Degree level in Science or Process/Chemical/Industrial Engineering and have proven success in a processing/manufacturing environment, then we want to hear from you. We ask that you have good communication and interpersonal skills to allow you to engage and influence shop floor workers and are PC literate to carry out data analysis and identify trends.
A Lean Six Sigma Yellow Belt or higher, or demonstrable experience of continuous improvement results is essential. Those who have a Green Belt or higher would be of distinct advantage.
