Our Client is a local provider of high quality, affordable homes in Macclesfield and the surrounding areas. They aim to provide homes and services that meet customers’ needs and help build strong communities.
An exciting and challenging opportunity has arisen for a Gas Compliance Officer to join their gas team on a 1 year fixed term contract, providing administration support and working with the team to achieve its exacting 100% gas safety compliance standards.
The ideal candidate will be self-sufficient, comfortable acting on his or her own initiative to resolve issues. Strong administration skills are essential, alongside a good working knowledge of Excel – candidates must be able to confidently and skilfully manipulate data and statistics to produce reports. The successful candidate will also be a proactive problem solver, with a good general understanding of the repairs and maintenance sector.
Highly organised in your approach with good planning skills, and an excellent customer service ethic, you will strive to build effective and constructive professional relationships with your colleagues throughout the business, with their stakeholders and with their customers.
They are looking for a professional and results driven Gas Compliance Officer to become a valued member of the Trust. Combining your innovative thinking and negotiation skills, with the active involvement of their customers in order to identify policy and service improvements. Engaging with all their customers, even the most isolated or hard to reach, to deliver the best service.
A flexible approach to working hours and a full UK driving licence are imperative. Experience within the housing sector is desirable but not essential.
