We currently have a great opportunity for a Gas Supervisor to join our Property Services Team in the Berkshire Area based at our Newbury Office.

This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled Gas Engineer to take the next step up in their career.

The role is a supervisory role with a focus on supporting the Gas Manager in ensuring that the Area Team of Gas Engineers and contractors deliver a successful programme of annual gas safety checks and maintenance services to customers that are at all times in full accordance with Sovereign’s service standards, values and behaviours.

You will assist the Gas Manager in the management and development of the Area Team, ensuring that forecast labour and material resources are appropriately planned and allocated in accordance with projected workflow and agreed budgets. Experience of supervising a team would therefore be ideal.

To be successful in this role you will need excellent IT and communication skills with the ability to effectively problem solve.

The role also requires you to support the Trades Team therefore trade knowledge and experience is required. You must possess a minimum of Gas Accredited Certification Scheme (ACS) qualifications (or equivalent), along with having a full UK Driver’s Licence.

You will be expected to build effective relationships with a range of colleagues and customers and display strong influencing skills to ensure you meet challenging targets and objectives.

Working as part of a team you will also participate in the delivery of our Out of Hours call out service.
