PART-TIME EVENING LIBRARIAN

SENIOR SCHOOL [13-18]

We are seeking to appoint a part-time Evening Library Assistant to work in the prestigious Chatfeild-Roberts Library at Cheltenham College, from September 2018. This is a term-time only position (33 weeks per annum).

The Library Assistant is responsible to the College Librarian and will assist in the efficient organisation, management and administration of the Library, as well as in the promotion and provision of its services and resources. The Library Assistant supervises students working in the Library during evening hours, liaising with resident staff as required.

Hours of work will be 4pm to 9pm, Monday to Friday and the salary will be based on £8.39 per hour.

Applicants should be self-motivated with good IT skills and excellent interpersonal and communication skills with students of 13-18 years of age and with adults. This position is an excellent opportunity for a candidate wishing to gain experience before seeking a professional qualification.
