LOCATION: Horsham, West Sussex
JOB TITLE: Full Time Packers
SALARY & BENEFITS: GBP9.20 per hour plus benefits including 4 weeks holiday per year
WORKING HOURS: Full Time (Days) Monday-Thursday 8am to 8pm & Friday 8am to -2pm with overtime as required during seasonal periods (overtime will be paid at time and a half)
THE COMPANY: Our clients are a recognised market leader for the supply of linen and laundry services across the South East. Their range of high quality products and services include hotel linen, restaurant linen, towels and bath robes as well as work wear and industrial garments which they provide to their customers that include hotels, restaurants, golf courses and businesses.
Due to the continued successful growth there is a new opportunity for an accurate Full Time Packer to join their existing team based in Horsham, West Sussex.
THE ROLE: As a Full Time Packer you will work as part of a team where you will work in various areas within our client's packing department and will be responsible in accurately counting and packing linen to be returned to customers. This is a critical part of the production line and will require candidates to pay close attention to accuracy and presentation in order to ensure customers remain satisfied and that you uphold the company's great reputation at all times.
The hours will consist of 40 hours on average per week which will be Monday to Friday so you will still have your evenings and weekends and evenings off, but a flexible approach to the role may be required with occasional early starts or late finishes depending on daily workloads for which you will be paid at time and half for any additional overtime hours. For the first few weeks you will receive support and training and will be paired with an existing member of staff, in addition to excellent in depth training you will also receive by the employers.
THE CANDIDATE: The successful candidate for the Full Time Packers role must be a methodical and accurate person who can pay close attention to detail and takes high standards in their work. You must have good numeracy skills and be able to work well as part of a team. Candidates should also be physically fit and motivated individuals as this can sometimes be a physically demanding and repetitive role.
Key Experience/ Characteristics preferred for the Full Time Packers role in Horsham, West Sussex :-
- Must have good accuracy skills and be able to pay close attention to detail
- Good numeracy skills
- Someone who takes pride in doing a job to high standards
- Must have good spoken communication skills and work well as part of a team
- Must be able to easily commute to Horsham,West Sussex
