FLT Production Operative
The Company
Our client is a worldwide distributor of high-quality bottled water. Due to business expansion they are now recruiting FLT Operators / Machine Operators. Based in Fradley Park, Lichfield area, you would be joining a progressive and established company who service the UK from their existing site.
The Role
?? Prepare the bottling and kegging lines.
?? Operating and change-over the bottling machines.
?? Running production lines ensuring production process runs smoothly.
?? Fault finding and reporting quality issues.
?? Loading components and raw materials with FLT Counterbalance.
?? Transporting finished products using FLT Counterbalance.
?? The role split is about 50/50 Production and FLT work.
?? Must have a valid FLT Counterbalance license.
Hours of work
There are positions available in two departments with different shift patterns and pay package.
1. Department A - 3 on 3 off shift
05:00-17:00 & 17:00-05:00 3 on 3 off rotating shifts so must be able to work days, nights and weekends as per shift roster.
Pay Rates
Day shifts 05:00-17:00:
?? Monday to Friday rate GBP9.37 p/h
?? Saturday & BH rate GBP14.06 p/h
?? Sunday rate GBP18.74 p/h
?? Overtime rates are applicable on rest days at GBP14.06 p/h (Mon-Sat) and GBP18.74 p/h (Sun)
Night shift 17:00-05:00:
?? Monday to Friday rate GBP11.25 p/h
?? Saturday & BH rate GBP16.88 p/h
?? Sunday rate GBP22.50 p/h
?? Overtime rates are applicable on rest days at GBP16.88 p/h (Mon-Sat) and GBP22.50 p/h (Sun)
2. Department B - Monday to Friday shift
Working weekly rotating shifts 05:00-13:00 / 13:00-21:00 / 21:00-05:00 Monday to Friday.
Day shifts (5am-1pm & 1pm-9pm):
?? STD Rate GBP9.37 p/h
?? OT1 Rate GBP14.06 p/h
?? OT2 Rate GBP18.74 p/h
Night shift (9pm-5am):
?? STD Rate GBP11.25 p/h
?? OT1 Rate GBP16.88 p/h
?? OT2 Rate GBP22.50 p/h
Benefits
v Temp to Perm role after 13 weeks.
v Once permanent the pay rates go up to:
?? Days Mon-Fri GBP9.90, Saturday GBP14.85 and Sunday GBP19.80 per hour.
?? Nights Mon-Fri GBP11.88, Saturday GBP17.82 and Sunday GBP23.76 per hour.
v Overtime is available.
v Paid breaks.
