Our client is a well-established multi-disciplinary company. As the
company continues to grow and take on new projects they are now
expanding their team and are seeking an Assistant Ecologist eager to
gain experience and expand their surveying skills to work out of their
office in London.
The Assistant Ecologist will:
Work with other ecologists undertaking surveys for a range of
protected species in particular GCNs, bats and reptiles
Get the opportunity to assist more senior staff on surveys for other
species, such as badger, water vole and otter
Complete and assist on Extended Phase 1 Habitat and Hedgerow surveys
Be primarily field based but have the opportunity to undertake office
based work, including desk studies; writing basic survey reports and
producing supporting plans
The Assistant Ecologist will require:
An ecological/environmental related degree
Some kind of field work experience
Preferably CIEEM membership or have eligibility
Full driving licence
