Duration: 6 months (+)

Overview

Lead and Manage the end to end acceptance testing for the delivery of a new critical system and its integration, from a business process perspective, with a team comprising test resources and business secondees. Assure the delivery of high quality products and services that drive the programme success protecting the customer and user experience.

What you will be doing

  • Accountable for ensuring the test, validation and integration of the application or applications under change or introduction as a solution within the programme.
  • Alignment with the organisation ensuring quality standards, risk mitigation, commercial implications and customer/user requirements are delivered.
  • Oversee the effective and timely delivery of test strategy, plans, scripts and execution, defect logging / resolution and test completion reports in accordance with customer, stakeholder and business requirements, ensuring the knowledge obtained and any intellectual property is retained on behalf of the organisation.
  • Management of internal and external resources, managing performance and development programmes and ensuring skills are matched to delivery requirements, in order to realise exceptional test and integration to the programme.
  • Proactive management of the area of responsibility to ensure test and integration delivered to time, cost and quality in line with business needs in a suitable test environment.
  • Engagement with internal customers / stakeholders to build and maintain robust relationships, provide clear guidance, advice, recommendations and test acceptance criteria, in order to enable informed and effective decision making for the benefit of the organisation.
  • Establish and maintain effective reporting.
  • Build and maintain relationships with external suppliers and parents and manage their delivery to quality and test criteria as established by the programme.
  • Lead, engage and motivate people in order to create an environment in which people can deliver exceptional performance.

  • Strong management skills and proven experience of leading a team in the successful delivery of end to end solutions in a rapidly changing environment.
  • Flexible and resilient, with proven ability to engage successfully with internal and external resources to deliver agreed solutions.
