Accessories Team Leader
GBP20,280 p/a, 39 hrs per week, Days, 30 days holiday, Parking, Staff Discount, Pension scheme
Have you got experience working as a Shift Supervisor or Team Leader and are looking for a new challenge? My client, a leading textile manufacturer based in the Yeadon area are looking to recruit an experienced Supervisor to support the smooth running of Accessories Department.
Reporting directly to the Senior Accessories Supervisor and the Warehouse/Despatch Manager, you will be providing support and ensuring that sales orders are processed efficiently and on time, in full and ensuring quality.
Day to day duties within the role will include:
-Supervising a team of up to 30 staff, implementing training and ensuring staff are fully motivated
-Having a good knowledge of stock control and Warehouse/Logistics Operations
-Maintaining the highest quality standards across the department
-Organising daily collections through UPS or other Freight Forwarders as per customer requirements
-Liaising with other departments regarding any issues with shortage and priorities
-Understanding and using their ERP systems (Reflex) controlling stock levels and processing orders
-Being involved in the recruitment process for the department
-Attending meetings, maintaining departmental KPI's and reporting to key stakeholders weekly
-Ensuring customer complaints are dealt with promptly, investigating and feeding back in a timely manner
Key skills needed/desirable for this role include:
-Excellent management and team leader skills
-Logistics experience and knowledge
-Knowledge of either Lean Manufacturing or 6 Sigma processes
-Excellent communication, interpersonal and organisational skills
-MS Excel and Database experience
-Reflex or similar ERP knowledge
The working week will be 39hrs, 8am-4.30pm from Monday to Thursday with a 3.30pm finish on a Friday. However, flexibility will be essential in this roles to suit my client's needs.
