Upstream USP Scientist - Microbial Fermentation

We have an exciting opportunity available as an Upstream Scientist in Bacterial Fermentation (USP). This is a great next step for a developing scientist who wants to continue to learn and implement new skills in a more senior position. The organisation is a small growing biotechnology company based in Cambridge.

Requirements

Life science degree (ideally a PHD)

Experience in an upstream fermentation

Responsibilities - Assisting with

Designing, developing and optimising bacterial fermentation processes

Working with production methods such as shake flasks, 1L Glass bioreactors up to 15L scale stainless steel fermentation systems

To work as part of a multidisciplinary team working within all areas of the GMP Manufacturing team; Working with project leaders providing results, data and progress updates.
