We have an exciting opportunity for a Trainee Investment Manager to join a diverse and exciting firm based in Birmingham City Centre.
As the Trainee Investment Manager, you will be providing your Managers with efficient support in the investment advice to clients. On a day to day basis you will be conducting portfolio reviews to give insight into asset allocation and monitoring investment objectives on behalf of your clients. You will also prepare presentations, reports and proposals to submit to clients and intermediaries to ensure the investment strategy is adhered to.
You will also be supporting managers in identifying possibilities for new business by working closely with internal departments of this busy firm. You will be working to strict deadlines in a fast paced, professional services environment and consistently completing work to a high standard.
Managing the relationships with your clients will also be central to your role, ensuring you maintain strong operational knowledge. Working with a high level of discretion, you will be comfortable with adapting to changes in the working environment.
You will ideally be educated to a high standard, preferable with Investment Management Certificate, the CF30 or the IAD and working toward the CISI Diploma or CFA Level 1. Experience working in a similar environment will also be desirable.
