Head of Finance in South Bedfordshire

Head of Finance required for an old established construction group based in South Bedfordshire to have a pivotal role in helping the business continue its impressive record of growth and profitability and balance sheet strength.

The Head of Finance will be responsible for all aspects of the day to day finance function reporting to the directors, main duties to include but not limited to: timely monthly management accounts production, contract costing, budgets, cashflow, payroll, accounting controls, computerisation, operational procedures, accounts staff management, compliance, audit, taxation, statutory, problem solver and implementing improvements.

For this exciting role we are looking for a qualified accountant who has relevant head of department
experience, who is a good communicator, who can command the respect of the rest of the accounts department team and who is looking for promotion to the next level.
