Love working in healthcare? Here's your opportunity to make a difference.

Have you considered a career that offers you the chance to use your skills in a different way? What if you could use your clinical expertise in a new setting? Would you like to combine your passion and insight to help people with health conditions? It's time to see things differently as a disability assessor.

See challenges differently

We're Capita PIP and we carry out Personal Independence Payment assessments on behalf of the Department for Work and Pensions (DWP) in England and Wales and the Department for Communities (DfC) in Northern Ireland. Joining us as a disability assessor, you'll clinically assess applicants and compile reports that ascertain how their health condition and/or disability affects their daily lives and mobility.

See training differently

We're looking for qualified healthcare professionals - nurses, occupational therapists, paramedics and physiotherapists with at least two years post registration experience - to join us. You'll have excellent observational and decision-making skills, strong report writing skills and be computer literate. You'll also need a full, clean driving licence and access to a car. You'll go on a five-week intensive training course (fully paid), followed by a further six weeks on-the-job training with close mentorship and development.

See support differently

You'll have access to a huge array of career development opportunities - you could move quickly into roles including team manager, clinical trainer, clinical coach or quality auditor - and you'll be working for a progressive and cutting-edge employer with exceptional standards.

See rewards differently

The hours are full-time and spread across Monday to Saturday from 8am-6pm and you'll be able to work flexibly within these hours. You'll enjoy 23 days paid holidays (plus eight statutory holidays), life assurance, a company pension and have all your travel expenses reimbursed.
