Dawson Direct ltd is part of Dawsongroup plc. Dawson direct is the used equipment sales business of Dawsongroup, a national provider of commercial rental solutions.

We now have an opportunity for a Sales Manager to join us in this highly successful business based at our Stoke operation.

Acting on your own initiative whilst working closely with senior management and head office departments, you will develop new customers, both trade and retail, for the sale of used commercial vehicles to set performance targets.

You will be responsible for:

• Making appointments and visiting potential customers keeping accurate information on all sales.
• Liaising with branches and head office departments to identify new opportunities
• Negotiate process for the sales equipment
• Pass leads to other business departments
• Provide a monthly activity report detailing sales achievements, new business and future prospects

To be a successful Sales Manager, you will:

• Have thorough understanding of commercial vehicles twinned with a proven sales background.
• Excellent interpersonal skills and high level of personal presentation is an essential.
• You must have a full and valid driving licence (Heavy goods licence is preferable)
