JR Personnel are an employment agency acting on behalf of a client who is looking for a Procurement Sourcing Manager.

ROLE PROFILE:  

• Manage the professional sourcing and procurement service in addition to be being the key internal contact on products, equipment and merchandise
• Maintain effective working relationships with all key suppliers and manufacturers to ensure best-value and efficiencies of scale;
• Oversee the supply chain, including quality control and ethical/sustainable practice.

PERSON PROFILE:

• Motivated, proactive and able to work independently, a ‘self-starter’
• Ability to set and complete priorities, achieve targets and respond quickly and flexibly to changing needs and tight deadlines
• Excellent time management and able to work under pressure and to deadlines
• Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively with a range of internal and external stakeholders, including senior staff

ESSENTIAL CRITERIA:

• Proven experience in a product buying/sourcing role
• Member of CIPS
• Proven experience of sales/product management including budget setting, pricing, sales forecasting and sales reporting
• Knowledge and experience of e-commerce platforms
• Experience of working with product manufacturers and suppliers, including negotiation of contracts
