Exeter College Day Nursery is situated in the city centre in a modern purpose built nursery. Our small but busy 40 place nursery has three base playrooms all of which lead into a large garden to the rear of the building. We are close to all main transport links into the city.

We are looking for a Nursery Administrator to work five weekday mornings starting at 8am. Your duties will include handling payments, maintaining the nursery management database, answering enquiries from parents, taking telephone calls and liaising in person with all visitors to the Nursery.  The role will directly support the work of the Nursery Manager and deal with all administration duties in the Nursery. The successful applicant will have prior experience of administrative work, be able to work accurately and efficiently whilst maintaining confidentiality at all times, have a good knowledge of all Microsoft packages and will have excellent customer service skills in this front facing role as the first point of contact with the public. A childcare qualification would be an advantage.

The College offers great opportunities for professional development and further training. The college also offers a generous holiday allowance of 28 days per year (pro rata), plus bank holidays and an additional 2 weeks off at Christmas. You will also have the option join the Local Government Pension Scheme.

Full training will be provided.
