We have an exciting opportunity to join our new PFI contract at the John Radcliffe Hospital for a diligent HR Administrator. The role will support the HR Adviser and HR Business Partner on site focusing on a range of HR related duties as indicated below.

The role:

To provide an HR administration support service to managers, employees and HR team ensuring confidentiality is maintained at all times
To draft correspondence (e.g. contractual documents, correspondence relating to discipline, grievance, absence management processes) ensure personnel filing is up to date with correct documentation (e.g. right to work, DBS certification, current terms of employment, etc.)
To ensure the administration relating to appraisals, capability and probationary reviews, exit interviews are within the allotted timeframes
To induct new employees and ensure the process is properly administered
To participate in recruitment and selection of staff
To maintain and monitor the HR administration systems both paper and computerised to ensure the HR database and other platforms are up to date and accurate
To provide reports or statistical data when necessary; to use appropriate systems to monitor and maintain records

The person:

Previous experience in a similar role
Excellent communication skills, both written and oral; strong English language and numeracy skills
Able to prioritise workload to meet deadlines, demonstrate flexibility in approach
Team player, able to maintain confidentiality
Good knowledge of Microsoft Office, Word and Excel essential; working knowledge of HR databases and/or reporting tools would be an advantage
Ideally studying for CIPD
