We are looking for a very strong, qualified and experienced candidate to take over the role of a Senior Service Coordinator role based in Luton, Bedfordshire. To work with women and children who have suffered from or are exposed to Gender Based Violence paying £ 22834. Alongside 32 days of annual leave (including bank holidays), career progression, free parking, raining, pension and more. This is a permanent and full time role working Monday - Friday; 9 - 5 with on call management rota, out of hours 1 in 4 weeks.

About the job;

Purpose of role..

You will be responsible for organising and allocating support and services for women and children. You will achieve and exceed KPI's and targets, delivering an outstanding level of care which meets the needs of individual women and children. Overseeing the day to day coordination and supervision of the multidisciplinary team (MDT). You will ensure that all cases are allocated and services are coordinated efficiently and expeditiously for women and children.


Key responsibilities;

Undertake the necessary work for the preparation of client case audits

Prepare the agenda for MDT weekly Case Management Meetings

You will be the organisations safe guarding officer, responding to issues of safeguarding vulnerable adults and children ensuring services meet the provisions of the Care Act 2015

Liaise with the Housekeeping and Maintenance Coordinator to ensure living environments are safe and secure.
Daily support and monthly one to one supervision with all members of the MDT Effectively managing team performance and behaviours and escalating staffing issues through appropriate policies.


About the ideal candidate;


You must have experience in a managerial or team leader role.
You should have a NVQ level 4 in health and social care.
Team leader or managerial qualification or equivalent experience
Experience of managing a busy team
Show you have constructive problem solving and conflict of resolution
Effective time management
A good working knowledge of the issues facing women, children and young people affected by domestic violence specifically in relation to sexual exploitation, mental health and substance misuse would be desirable.
Experience of developing appropriate policies that meet correct legislation.
