Your Responsibilities:
A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a motivated scientist skilled in the bioanalysis of novel biopharmaceutical constructs (e.g. proteins, peptides dAbs, mAbs, ADCs, bi-specifics) with first-hand experience applying state-of-art techniques (immunoaffinity capture, high resolution LC/MS, top down and bottom up proteomics techniques, 2D-HPLC and automation). You will apply these skills to support progression of the biopharmaceutical pipeline including pharmacokinetic profiling, assessment of critical quality attributes/variants in vivo and measurement of circulating immune complexes. You will provide deep lab bench level technical knowledge and expertise by applying a wide breadth of sample preparation, separation and detection techniques to develop and validate novel and complex bioanalytical methods.
Key Responsibilities
• Demonstrate deep knowledge and strong experience in bioanalytical related technologies and their practical application in delivering novel and challenging assays. Acts as an analytical scientific expert in discussions on science/project progression within GSK
• Holds him/herself accountable for delivering high quality bioanalytical assay and results, and be fully compliant with regulatory requirements. Work closely with both bioanalysis IC and bioanalysts
• Provide scientific leadership and set strategic direction on technology advancement. Drive an assay technology agnostic attitude and openness to new technologies to support all modalities
• Constantly look for new ways to enhance the value of bioanalytical science that bioanalysis group brings to the group and to support the increasingly diversified GSK portfolio
• Drive innovation, and enable the introduction & investigation of innovative technology. Partner with external companies, institutes and consortium to deliver solutions
• Well-connected in the analytical community (internally and externally to GSK); established through publications and presentations
