Senior Flood Risk Consultant- Nottingham

My client, a specialist UK based Environmental Consultancy who specialises in Flood Risk Infrastructure and Transport Planning, is searching for a Senior Flood Risk Consultant to join and expand their friendly and supportive Team of experienced Consultants based in Nottingham.

Applicants are required to have a MSc and BSc in Hydrology, River Basin Dynamics or Environmental Engineering and are working toward Chartered Status.

Candidates are required to have experience working within a UK based Consultancy or Local Authority specialising in Hydrology, Flood Risk and Environmental Management and have technical experience completing Flood Risk Assessments for planning applications and Watercourse Projects.

It is also beneficial for applicants to have experience managing projects and teams.

As a Senior Flood Risk Consultant you will have the opportunity to develop a specialist Water Team based in Nottingham to complete Flood Risk and River Projects from feasibility to completion for Local Authorities, Water Companies and Private Sector Clients.

You will also have the opportunity to complete and check technical work including Flood Risk Assessments for Planning Applications, Surface Water Management Plans, Catchment Management Plans, Hydrological Assessments and analysis and Watercourse and Hydraulic Modelling.

As a Senior Consultant you will also have the opportunity to manage Projects and Teams.
