Michael Page has been assigned to search for Marketing Insight Analyst for a business based in Hertfordshire. The candidate will be responsible working with a variety of data and marking strategic decisions to clients off the back of the data.
Client Details
The Client is well known within their industry with over ten years worth of experience as a marketing agency working with a range of well known brands. There are roughly 80-90 people within the business , and with the business always growing due to new campaigns, launches and projects coming in this number is set to rise. Not only do the business operate across multiple channels, they also provide end-to-end services including promotion work, brand ambassadors, forecast & trend analysis, business consultancy, people recruitment & development, social media amplification, intelligent reporting & insights, retail concept, design & build and more. They are a fast paced and exciting business to work for allowing you to work with some of the big brands.
Description
The Market Insight Analyst will be expected to retrieve, manipulate, and analyse data collated from the businesses systems and inform clients on their commercial and strategic decision making.The successful candidate will be responsible for but not limited to:

To support the Client Development Directors and Divisional Managers through analysis of sales trends and forecasts to understand commercial opportunities, threats, best practise and to propose and deliver actions.
- Manage Sales review reports, planning and store optimisation
- run effective competitor and market analysis
- Understand the clients range of products, promotions, retail initiatives retail and contact centre sales
- Be expert of the mobile and consumer electronics market place, trends, competitor ranges, competitors and initiatives from market research and commercial analytics.
- will be expected to work the odd weekend from home, for which you will be paid for.
Profile
The Successful candidate will have:
- At least 3 years worth of experience within an analytical environment
- advanced and experienced skill specifically in Excel but also in PowerPoint
- The ability to use 'R'-user ( language and free software for statistical computing and graphics)
Job Offer
The Market Insight Analyst can expect a salary up to GBP28K dependant on experience
