This unique role will be a key member of their growing Professional Services Team, delivering post-sales implementation services to 600+ customers around the UK and occasionally overseas (therefore you must be able to travel.)
The engineer would ideally be able to deliver both wired and wireless technologies, however training will be provided if candidate currently only has experience in one of these areas.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Provide Post-Sales Implementation Services to customers, including but not limited to; pre-staging of switching & wireless technologies, installation into customer sites (rack & stack), configuration, testing, user acceptance testing & documentation
- Understand the impact of implementing a solution on a customer site & able to make recommendations on the best approach to implementation
- Perform network health checks for customers
- Produce high level and low level technical documentation
- Strong organisational, time management and prioritisation skills
Qualifications / Experience:
- At least 3 Years' experience within a technical IT role, preferable with some experience as an Engineer
- Industry recognised technical certifications - Microsoft, Cisco, CCNA etc
- Experience working with technologies such as Cisco, Dell Networking and/or Aerohive and Ruckus Wireless.
- Experience configuring Microsoft Technologies - Radius/NPS, Certificate Services, DHCP is desirable
- Experience with Network Access Control Solutions is desirable
- Experience of security tools such as Palo or Fortinet are desirable but not essential
A training and development plan will be implemented and regularly reviewed to ensure that you keep up to date with technologies and have the opportunity to progress your career.
This role includes a competitive base salary (depending on experience), in addition to this there will be a performance related bonus.
