An excellent opportunity has now arisen for a Group Communications Executive to join us at our office in Rotherham.

Within this role, you will support the positioning of Mears as the most social responsible business within our sectors and the market leader within the Housing and Support markets. 

You will be responsible for delivering marketing campaigns focused on brand awareness, new business generation, attraction, recruitment and retention.  You will write important and local stories (print and digital) and will contribute content to internal communications channels and social media scheduling and posting.

Selling in press releases to local and sector media, you will also be responsible for events administration and support (management of inbox/queries) and will implement / maintain records and systems to support the team.

This role would really suit a Graduate/College leaver with a Communications Marketing qualification with some experience of communications and marketing.  With experience of using main social media channels, you will be able to build effective relationships at all levels and will have experience of delivering effective projects and/or campaigns.

Due to the nature of this role, a full UK driving licence and willingness to travel will be required
