The Hartshorne Group is one of the leading commercial vehicle distributors for the Derbyshire, Midlands, Nottinghamshire, Staffordshire area, providing full parts and service facilities for Volvo Truck & Bus

We require an ambitious Depot Manager to take responsibility for our brand new purpose built Birmingham depot. For this role you will be an experienced hands on Depot Manager with a background in heavy commercial vehicles.

The successful candidate will have full responsibility for managing the day-to-day service and parts operation of our brand new facility in Birmingham, with the aim of increasing quality, customer satisfaction and workshop profitability.

Responsibilities will also include ensuring that individual technician’s performance is optimised and work is progressed through the depot in an efficient manner with the aim of first time fix every time. Controlling costs, maintaining service records and able to control a successful aftermarket team are also key responsibilities.

The successful candidate will have excellent interpersonal and management skills, along with the ability to motivate others and the energy to grow our business. An attention to detail and commitment to customer satisfaction is paramount. Well-developed leadership capabilities are required.
