We have an excellent opportunity for someone to join a well-established practice in York, offering a competitive package and a real chance at progressing through the company.
Established just over 30 years ago, this firm are a specialist team of Architects and Building Surveyors, with particular expertise in Historic Buildings (RICS accredited in Building Conservation) as well as residential, healthcare and education. They are based just outside of York City Centre and are easily accessible either by car (onsite parking provided) or via local public transport links.
They are currently looking for a Chartered Architect to join the team, who must have a background in Conservation Architecture as well as either a proven track record in business development or are able to bring work into the practice.
Recent workload has seen them operate increasingly in the private healthcare sector, so experience with similar clients would be beneficial however this is not essential. The successful candidate for this role will be given a large amount of autonomy with regards to business development, so experience in other sectors and the ability to diversify and bring in new contracts would be highly valued.
This role would suit an ambitious individual with a view to progressing with the company long term. Competitive rates of pay are on offer (flexible depending on experience) with the chance to grow from Senior to Director level if successful.
