JOB TITLE: Media Sales Advisor
SALARY & BENEFITS: GBP17,900 + excellent bonus and benefits package
WORKING HOURS: 10:00 - 17:30 Monday to Friday
THE COMPANY: Johnston Press are a leading media company within the UK with brands including The I, The Scotsman, Yorkshire Post, Sheffield Star, and Portsmouth News.
Housed within our portfolio is the market leading publishing business within the off-road motorcycling sector. JP Off-Road consists of two titles, Dirt Bike Rider (DBR), a monthly glossy magazine and Trials & Motocross News (TMX), a weekly newspaper; both titles are supported by websites and strong social media platforms.
THE ROLE: The role of Media Sales Advisor is a key role within our established advertising team based in Morecambe, Lancashire. The overall purpose of the position is to present our multi media portfolio to new and existing clients ensuring a high standard of customer service and account management.
Key responsibilities to include:
THE CANDIDATE: The ideal Media Sales Advisor will be engaging and have the confidence to speak to people on all levels. You will have a creative flair with the ability to discuss new ideas with customers that will in turn create new opportunities.

- Develop a sales activity plan that will exceed revenue targets
- Prospecting and following up on identified leads
- Creating and delivering an effective media sales proposition over the phone that meets customer's needs
- Actively reviewing campaigns with your customer on a regular basis
- Managing incoming calls and sales enquiries
- Participate in Off Road events and other business development initiatives
