Our client is a leading provider of specialist motorcycle outsourced claims handling services to insurance companies and brokers operating in the motorcycle sector. They were featured in the Sunday Times Fast-track 100 of the Fastest Growing Privately Owned Companies in the UK.
 
They’re now seeking a Finance Assistant to join their team is Egham.
 
As a Finance Assistant, you will be tasked with providing support to the Financial Controller and the Finance Team as a whole.
 
This is a fantastic opportunity for a graduate, finance professional or AAT holder to progress their career, gain further experience and develop their finance expertise.

Specifically, you will:
 
- Work with the sales and purchase ledgers
- Process returns, credits and refunds as well as staff expenses and petty cash
- Undertake reconciliations for balance sheet, bank accounts, month end and intercompany accounts
- Process purchase and settlement payments
- Work with suppliers, customer and policyholders and support Accountants
- Post daily bank transactions and deal with monthly accruals and prepayments
 
So, is this the role for you? If so, you will need at least one of the following:
 
- Experience in a finance role
- An AAT qualification
- A finance-related degree
 
Ideal Finance Assistants will have some experience of Sage Line 50, but this is by no means essential.
