Our client is responsible for 26 academies across the length and breadth of England. Their academies can collaborate and share ideas with one another in ways that schools may not be able to. Most importantly, they all feel part of something much bigger as our responsibilities go far beyond the four walls of a single academy, and extend to people and their communities across the country.

About the role & their ideal candidate

Their governance remit is considerable. Five regional hubs have educational and operational responsibility for the academies in their area, and every one of their 26 academies is also supported by an Ambassadorial Advisory Group. You will be supporting the Governance Manager to ensure the smooth running of the administration of their governance structure.

This is an exciting opportunity, and you must have the ability to work in a fast-moving environment to high levels of accuracy. Whilst experience in the education sector is desirable, this isn’t essential. Our client is more interested in a candidate with strong communication skills, both written and verbal, an eye for detail and a positive, can-do attitude.

Why work for them?

This is an exciting time to join an ambitious team and organisation. They offer the chance to work with amazing people and inspirational pupils, as well as sector-leading work-life balance arrangements, a professional training and development programme and a generous holiday entitlement.

The closing date for applications is midday on Thursday 26 July 2018

Interviews are scheduled for Tuesday 7 August 2018

Our client is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of young people and vulnerable adults, and all appointments are subject to enhanced Disclosure & Barring Service (DBS) checks and satisfactory references.  They are also committed to promoting equality, challenging discrimination and developing community cohesion.  They welcome applications from all sections of the community.
