Electrical Maintenance Technician (Days Role)

A leading manufacturer of safety critical components is looking to recruit an experienced Electrical Maintenance Technician to join their team.

Purpose of Role:

To maintain and develop machine tools to optimize reliability and maximise capacity

Skills / Experience:

* Minimum HNC in Electrical Engineering OR Recognised Electrical qualification
* Must be experienced with machine tools and associated processes
* Working knowledge of Siemens and Fanuc PLC's
* Understand the impact of machinery downtime
* Able to write & develop software programs for special applications
* Skilled in the maintaining, repairing and developing machinery.
* Experience in Electrical Maintenance within a busy manufacturing environment

Responsibilities:

* Respond to breakdowns in a timely manner
* Fault find, rectify, modification & development of machinery
* Assist in sourcing service engineers as needed

* Identify required spares/parts and record accordingly
* Raise purchase requests
* Complete easy to understand maintenance handovers
