We are recruiting for an experienced Business Manager for our client, a leading training and development company. You will be responsible for the leadership and day to day operations of the Traineeship Contract. Accountable for driving a learner led and quality service provision. Responsible for maximising the performance, efficiency and effectiveness of the department. You will have a genuine passion for making a difference to young peoples' lives.
The Role:
• Responsible for the smooth running and day to day operations of the centres
• Ensure performance & quality of sub-contractors with Traineeships
• Accountable for driving a learner led and quality service provision for our learners
• Responsible for promoting and managing the safeguarding of learners. Undertaking designated safeguarding officer duties
• To be fully conversant with our policies and procedures for the welfare, protection and safeguarding of children and vulnerable adults
• Responsible for effectively managing and dealing with challenging behaviour
• Responsible for ensuring supervision of learners. Maintaining centre discipline and expected behaviours of learners
• Responsible for ensuring a positive customer, employer and learner service, dealing with complaints in an effective and timely fashion
• Supervise the development of learners to improve their ability to progress into employment, further training or further education
• To work in partnership with the Quality Assurance Manager to ensure award body and associated quality standards are achieved
• To assist in the development of the strategic planning for all operational activities
• Leading and implementing appropriate and effective change
• Responsible for management information analysis and reporting
• Accountable for forecasting, departmental income and cost control for the centre
The Ideal Candidate:
• You must have previous management experience
• Change management experience
• Experience of working with disengaged youths and challenging behaviour
• Safeguarding experience
• Enhanced DBS Disclosure Check
• Training sector experience
• Excellent organisational skills
• Meet tight deadlines and manage multiple priorities under pressure
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• A Challenging and inspirational leader
• Proven ability to deliver
• Knowledge of public funded training schemes
• Knowledge of qualifications and award body criteria
