Job Title: Logistics Shunter Driver
Do you have a CAT C HGV Licence? Have you got a CPC Qualification? This is a fantastic opportunity to join a leading company and join a busy friendly and fun Logistics team.
If you're looking for experience driving CAT C vehicles, or just variety from long distance driving and keen to work in a friendly, fun team then this could be the role for you.
Hours required: Monday-Thursday 1pm-10pm, Sunday 9am-6pm
Overview:
This is a varied role and can be challenging. Day to day, you will be loading our products, from bikes to totes of clothing onto our trucks at warehouses in Crawley near Gatwick, to send to stores. This role requires that you are qualified to Category C level and a valid CPC qualification due to the nature of the vehicles being driven.
This is a great opportunity for a newly qualified driver looking to gain some experience with the opportunity to drive longer journeys and get involved with deliveries to stores when required.
This role is active and will involve physical work, requiring the safe lifting and carrying of items so someone familiar with manual handling practice would be beneficial, however manual handling training will be provided, it is an active role and will be suited to someone with a can-do attitude who likes to interact with many different people throughout a day with great communication skills.
You will:
* Be able to think on your feet.
* Have high attention to detail.
* Have a CAT C HGV Licence.
* Have a CPC Qualification.
* Be looking to gain experience and develop within a role.
