OVERVIEW
• GBP8.50-10.43PH, depending on experience.
• 2 shift rotating system.
• Based in the Sheffield S4 area.
THE COMPANY
This Sheffield based company is the World-Leading Manufacturer of Wire Joining, Wire Tensioning and Wire Suspension systems. Their products undergo rigorous quality checks at every stage of manufacture to ensure that what they deliver to the customer is consistently of the highest quality. We are looking for people who have a great attention to detail to work in this highly respected company.
WORKING HOURS
This company operates a 2-shift rotating system:
Days: 06:00 - 14:00
Afternoons: 14:00 - 22:00
THE JOB
• GBP8.50 increasing to GBP10.43 after successful completion of 12 weeks.
• Assembly of fixings and fastenings onto steel cable wire of different lengths & thickness, handling some considerably small parts, conducted in a sitting or standing position at a work station.
• Detection of faults and reporting these to the relevant staff.
THE PERSON
• Ideally possessing some manufacturing or production environment experience.
• Have an eye for detail, strive for accuracy and respect quality in all aspects of the work.
• Be able to detect faults and report these to the relevant staff.
• Be able to work a 2-shift rotating pattern with overtime when required.
• Be an effective communicator and able to work with people at all levels of ability and from different cultures and backgrounds.
• Possess the ability to work well as part of a team or alone.
• Must have Safety Boots.
