The Company is a not-for-profit Registered Social Landlord providing homes for people in Aylesbury and the surrounding villages. Our aim is to provide affordable homes and build communities that people can be proud of.
We have an exciting opportunity for a Welfare Adviser to join our Welfare Advice Team.
The ideal candidate will have an employment history within the advice sector, with a good knowledge of welfare benefits, to work closely with our residents, internal departments and external partners and advice agencies.
You will need to be flexible and motivated in reacting to the needs of the service and must be able to work under pressure, demonstrate strong organisational and planning skills, be able to prioritise a very busy and varied workload and work as part of a team and on your own.
You must possess excellent IT skills, particularly Microsoft Office and demonstrate a high level of numeracy skills. We are seeking someone who is well organised, who can meet deadlines and has effective communication skills, both verbal and written.
