THE JOB TITLE: Technical Specialist

THE PRODUCT: Auto Electrical Components

As a Technical Specialist, you will be working closely with the Managing Director supporting the needs and requirements of the business.

The ideal candidate will ultimately grow our product range, but will have the following attributes:

* Auto Electrical Experience
* Excellent working knowledge of MS Office (Word, Excel) and Outlook
* Ability to work independently
* Willing to learn and have training on new skills too
* Have good communication skills- with co-workers and suppliers
* Demonstrate excellent attention to detail.
* Previous experience of providing administration support
* The roles and responsibilities will include the following, but will not be limited to:

* Full accountability and responsibility for maximising our product range opportunities.
* Maintain regular decreases to slow and obsolete (SLOB's) in all product ranges.
* Responsible for monitoring of key performance indicators (KPI's) which are specifically set within your areas of responsibility.
* Responsible for identification of the range and expansion of new products to increase market share (range expansion).
* Accountable for the policing of technical data, loaded into autopart and the web.
* Control and communicate market intelligence into specific departments.
* Provide adequate product training and advice when required.
* Share equal responsibility for all call traffic when required and full technical support function.
* Provide full support function for warranty approval and quality control sign off, whilst minimising the risk to the business and upholding the businesses reputation for a quality aftermarket product.
* Responsible for maintaining all tools required for fulfilment of technical department which includes sales reporting function and product identification tools.
* Notify Managing Director of any process changes, to allow updates to framework, SOP Training Manual etc.
