To ensure all activities are undertaken with reference to
compliance with cleanliness, housekeeping, health and safety,
product safety, quality and employment legislation.
* As a strategic member of the Supply Chain Team; to effectively use
forecast information to plan factory output and maintain excellent
customer service levels, maximising efficiencies and cost.
* To provide management support to the Factory Planning & Business
Analyst, Stock Controller and Warehouse personnel.
* Stock rotation, packaging and finished goods.
* To allocate packed goods and bulk products to meet customer
requirements.
KEY TASKS:
* Ensure that all areas of cleanliness, housekeeping, quality are
met at all times in the area of responsibility and that staff are
adequately trained.
* Implement labour cost for Warehouse monitoring and establish KPIs
* Ensure that all tasks are carried out safely and in a safe working
environment.
* Ensure that forklift trucks are adequately serviced and
maintained.
* Manage and monitor stocks of all incoming and packed goods/bulk
products.
* To control non-conforming product in conjunction as appropriate.
* To work closely with Production Manager to ensure a seamless and
effective movement of materials to and from production, providing
effective stock availability to production and despatch.
* Manage finished product stock levels to ensure that customer
requirements are met.
* Effectively use 3rd party logistics.
* Implement team KPI's
* Performance manage warehouse team.
This role would suit someone with a proven track record in a similar
role from an FMCG environment.
Salary depending on experience with hours of Monday to Friday 8.30am -
5.00pm.
