Student Services Support Assistant

Salary: £15,742 - £16,321

Contract Type: Permanent, Full Time, 37 hours per week, 52 weeks per year

We are recruiting for a Student Services Support Assistant to join our Helpzone Team on a permanent basis.  Operating as part of the frontline customer-facing team across the College, your role will be to provide a welcoming and professional service to all, offering outstanding customer service and impartial information and advice to all students and visitors.  You will liaise closely with academic and Helpzone colleagues to respond to day-to-day customer enquiries and will facilitate the student recruitment process from enquiry through to enrolment.

The successful candidate will need to hold GCSE English and Maths at grade C minimum (or equivalent), have evidence of continued professional development and experience of working with members of the public in a front-line capacity.  You should have experience in the use of computer packages to develop and maintain records and of Microsoft Office, including Excel and Outlook.  We are looking for someone who is proactive, who has excellent organisational skills and the ability to work well as part of a team.
