Due to continued expansion within the Group, we have created a new Telemarketing Executive role based in our Headquarters in Leeds. We are looking for a talented and competitive Telemarketing Executive to work as an integral part of a dynamic sales and marketing team, as well as working closely with our external partners, to create new opportunities within existing and new clients.

The company is an IT specialist infrastructure, solutions and services provider with over 30 years' experience supplying and supporting clients within the public and commercial sectors. Based in Leeds, but with coverage across the UK, revenues are approaching £45m per annum and has a growing staff population of nearly 120 employees.

The Telemarketing Executive will play a fundamental role in achieving our ambitious customer acquisition and revenue growth objectives. The successful candidate will be proactive and highly motivated with great interpersonal skills and a hunger to develop their sales career within a diverse and growing technology business - taking ownership of the opportunity sales cycle, from opportunity identification to sales qualified lead.

The primary function will be to support lead generation activity in creating opportunities for new prospect meetings by cold calling, maintaining customer contact and developing relationships in the install base accounts.

The Telemarketing Executive will:
- Maintain and expand a database of prospects
- Source and develop new sales opportunities through inbound lead follow-up and outbound cold calls and emails
- Route qualified opportunities to the appropriate sales executives for further development and closure
- Research accounts and competitors, identify key players and generate interest
- Work with channel partners to build and maintain valued, trusted relationships and pipeline
- Consistently meet or exceed quarterly targets and weekly KPI's (ie. call volumes and opportunity generation)
- Build and develop a professional network within the organisation and externally with partners and customers
- Support the Marketing function in campaign follow up and progression
- Adherence to internal CRM system guidelines to ensure accurate data capture and reporting
- Maintain technology product and service knowledge and participates in educational and training opportunities.

Desired Skills and Abilities:
- Proven telemarketing and/or sales experience, preferably within the IT sector
- Tenacious approach with a hunger and drive to win new business
- Strong verbal and written communication skills with an ability to influence across multiple levels of an organisation
- Ability to multi-task, prioritise, and manage time effectively
- Displays a proactive approach to self-development and continuous improvement
