About the Role
The Out of Hours Consultant is a dynamic a multi-faceted telephone based role which provides support across all branches (Home Care, Social Care & Nursing) during evenings and weekends. The role is key to providing 24 hour support to clients, nurses and carers. With excellent communication and problem solving skills you will be able to respond to incoming calls and deal with any queries efficiently. You'll need to ensure the nurses and care staff supplied are suitably qualified and experienced for the assignments when taking new bookings. With a strong focus on customer service you'll need to be a fast learner with any ability to move between different systems and prioritise tasks with ease. The successful candidate will need to be flexible and be able to work unsocial hours from both our Chester office and home. There will be an initial 2 week training period in the office.
Role Hours/Shifts
The hours are based on a 3 week rolling rota and will include the following shift patterns:
• Saturday and/or Sunday - 8am -3pm (in the Chester office), or 3pm - 10pm (from home)
• 2 x weekday evenings, 5pm -10pm (from home)
You will need to be able to commit to being able to working 2 weekends out of 3 and to be as flexible as possible. The average hours will equate to 16 - 30 per week and extra hours are potentially available.
