Salary: c£28-30k (depending on experience)

Our client is a family run business successfully established as one of the UK’s leading suppliers of curtain hardware, fabrics, workroom products & accessories to the soft furnishing trade. Their specialist knowledge has built up over two generations, but the company values remain the same - a family owned business dedicated to providing a professional and friendly service. With thousands of independent retailers, together with several emerging key customers, they now need a Project Coordinator to assist the Head of Marketing and Product Management to coordinate projects across product management/development and marketing.
The key purpose of this role is to assist with the creation and execution of a successful program of projects, actively coordinating work across the Team to ensure delivery on time and on budget. You will provide administrative support to the Head of Marketing & Product Management, ensuring projects progress efficiently. Your role will include project set up, maintaining project documentation, monitoring and reporting on costs, creating & communicating status reports and contributing to the improvement of project delivery. This key position will play a vital role in delivering efficiencies through effective project planning and liaison throughout the team. All in all, you will be responsible for coordinating the Team’s planning and execution of product & marketing projects from start to end; including scheduling meetings, coordinating diaries, monitoring budgets, stages and time frames.
To be short-listed, you must have worked in a fast-paced environment and have at least 3 years’ experience working in a medium sized or family business in a similar role with a proven track record of success. We are looking for evidence of project planning and delivery as well as an understanding of project coordination as detailed above. You'll be someone who works calmly under pressure, can work on their own initiative, be systems & process driven and have the ability to work & communicate with all levels within the business.
