Electrical Designer

NES have an exciting requirement to support one of our clients providing an Electrical Designer. This is an excellent contract opportunity for an experienced Electrical Engineer as the project is due to run until September 2019. They will focus on bringing functional solutions to Baggage Handling System's across a number of UK airports. The successful candidate will be require to prepare high quality engineering documentation to assist the projects throughout the complete project lifecycle from initial concept design through to handover and completion. Duties Have a good knowledge and understanding of Electrical engineering for low voltage power distribution, instrumentation and related cabling, panel design for motor starters and PLC Systems. Complete design requirement of Control panels, power distribution and plant interlinks including fieldbuses Responsible for performing accurate site surveys/fault finding and must have ability to produce electrical calculations Complete Amtech or Cable Calculation Generation of technical documentation to high standard e.g. FDS Responsible for PLC equipment for plant control Liaise with project team and implement processes Ability to work full functioning with AutoCAD and AutoCAD Electrical Key Skills/Requirements Full Air Side pass (or ability to get one) Knowledge of Airline processes or Baggage Handling Systems/Material Handling Systems Previous experience working with Siemen S7, Modicon, Allen Bradley, Rockwell systems Ability to work full functioning with AutoCAD and AutoCAD Electrical Key Skills Electrical Design Engineer, Electrical Engineer, PLC Design Engineer, Low Voltage Engineer, PLC Systems, AutoCAD, AutoCAD Electrical, Siemens s7, Allen Bradley, Rockwell, PLC, SCADA, Baggage Handling Systems
