Our client is passionate about growing fields of delicious leaves and getting them to the customer as fresh, tasty, healthy and nutritious as possible, and that means the contribution of everyone from our farmers and agronomists, to the distribution network, and every step in between. As such we are looking for a Spray Operator/Technician to work on their baby leaf farms for the season.
The role of Sprayer/Technician is an important role which ensures that crops are maintained to the required high standards.
Responsibilities will include:
Controlling weeds in the crop
Controlling pests and diseases in crops, by applying chemical and biological controls, according to the ICM Programme
Monitoring and ensuring efficient and effective application of plant protection products
Applying, recording and monitoring biological controls
Ensuring that legal requirements for product and storage are met
You should have experience in:
Horticulture/Agriculture
PA1 and PA6a
Ideally be a qualified sprayer
Ideally have a qualification in horticulture or agriculture
