Lead Planner - Food Manufacturing

Our client, are a large food manufacturing business. A vacancy has
arisen for a Production Planner to join the team at the site in
Surrey.

This role will suit a highly experienced Planner who has experience
from the food industry. There is also an element of Purchasing
involved in this role.

The Role:

* To take full responsibility for the production planning function
within a busy food manufacturing site

* Handling stock inventory levels and placing orders when needed

* Manage the stock systems in order to maintain the sales forecast
(all done via Excel)

* Provide support to and step up in the absence of the Supply Chain
Manager

The Candidate:

* An experienced Production Planner - ideally from the food industry

* A strong communicator and negotiator

* A strong IT systems user - Microsoft Excel is a must (ADVANCED
ideally)

* A confident communicator at all levels
