I am looking for deputy head teachers to work closely with a highly skilled principal to lead, manage and develop a brand new residential school for young people with an Autism diagnosis in Shropshire. I also have an opportunity within a learning disabilities specialist residential school setting.

You will become a key part of a thriving and well respected childcare provider and join them on their journey to open and develop new residential education provisions.

Employed on a full time basis, over the non-academic working year, you will oversee the delivery of high quality teaching practices across this educational setting. You will inspire your fellow teachers to identify teaching methods that will allow your pupils to achieve continued progress.

You will be passionate about supporting young people who have a Autism Spectrum Diagnosis and learning disabilities and have a great understanding of the challenges that present themselves.

You will be an outstanding teacher who has a genuine passion and professional background supporting young people aged up to 18 years with an ASD diagnosis and learning disabilities. You will be resilient, innovative and enthusiastic and an inspiration to your teaching team.

Where possible, you will have background teach English up to GCSE level and will still be passionate about playing a key role in the teaching timetable.

QTS and proven experience within a supervisory role in a similar setting is essential, as is a full UK driving licence and access to your own vehicle due to the location of this setting.

In return, you will be rewarded with a generous annual salary up to £52000, continued training and development, company car allowance and competitive annual leave allowance.
