Job Description

Wrapchic are looking for an Assistant Manager that has experience in a similar role for their'soon to open' outlet in Cobham Motorway Services. Wrapchic is the world's very first eatery that wraps together all the exciting and vibrant flavours of Indian street food, into an easy to eat grab and goformat.

Job Summary

In this role you provide leadership and supervision to the outlet team to ensure the delivery of high standards of customer service, the continuous promotion of the Wrapchic brand. Maximising all sales opportunities whilst maintaining high levels of hygiene and safety within the workplace.

Operations

  • Carry out Burrita operational tasks as required by the business demands to ensure the maintenance of Wrapchic Operational Standards
  • To assist in Human Resource administration including the production of rotas, time sheets and payroll input
  • To help maintain the agreed minimum staff establishment through the recruitment, induction and training of Burritas
  • To communicate all relevant legislation, company policies and procedures to all Burritas, ensuring compliance at all times
  • Processing invoices, transfers, waste, stock takes, including the monitoring of cost of sales and the dissemination of information regarding stock to management
  • Developing and maintaining relationships with agreed suppliers
  • Carry out for the preparation, cooking and service of food and beverages to agreed standards
  • Responsible for the counter setup and clearing away, cleaning (and operating in the safe and correct manor equipment for completing tasks) when on shift
  • Cash handling, operation of cash registers, cashing up and ensures procedures are carried out in accordance with Wrapchic policies
  • Responsible for temperature monitoring records for hot & cold foods in production, service and storage in accordance with procedures
  • Stock control, including ordering from agreed suppliers and stock-taking
  • Ensure that all staff demonstrate high standards of personal hygiene

  • Ensure that Wrapchic customers receive an excellent customer service experience

  • To act as a champion for change and improvement and constantly enhancing quality
  • To contribute to the annual quality review of the service and the programme of continuous improvement
  • To actively promote and act, at all times, in accordance with Wrapchic policies, e.g. Health and Safety, Equal Opportunities
  • To actively promote and adhere to agreed Wrapchic values
  • To undertake other duties commensurate with the job level in accordance with Food Hygiene Regulations
  • To help in the production of food and beverages and ensure they are presented to the standard set by Wrapchic
  • Through coaching, motivating and engaging all team members, create a culture to be proud of
  • Set and communicate bold sales goals to the team, striving to consistently exceed sales targets. Setting team members clear sales targets for every shift
  • Professionally represent the company to outside agencies such as the Environmental Health Officer and ensure that all communications are reported without delay to the SOM
  • Resolve emergency situations as appropriate, ensuring that Wrapchic Head Office is informed without delay of all such incidents
