We are recruiting for an experienced Grounds Maintenance Operative in the local area on behalf of a leading service provider, this role is seasonal so it is expected that it will run until September with the potential of being taken on as a permanent employee at the end of the season. There is also plenty of overtime opportunity.
You will be directly employed by the Company, which means you will be paid monthly (on the 14th of every month for all hours worked in the previous month).
You will be providing a grounds maintenance service to a variety of different sites on a day to day basis.
You will undertake horticultural and related tasks to include shrub bed maintenance, grass cutting and path sweeping - this means you will need experience of mowing (ride on and pedestrian ideally), strimming, hedge cutting, pruning, weeding, leaf and litter clearance
You will need a driving licence and transport to be able to get to the depot every morning, enjoy grounds maintenance and take pride in your work. If you have your PA1 or PA6 or experience of weed spraying that would be good.

Standard working hours are 40 per week with anything above that paid at enhanced overtime rates, uniforms will be provided, there is overtime earning potential as well as a good chance that the role could be extended in October or that the role could become permanent
