Sales Consultant - Poole - Salary £18,000 guaranteed for first year + bonus
Brook Street is happy to present the opportunity to join a friendly sales team within a successful high-end furniture company based in Poole. The Sales Consultant will act as the first point of contact for our client's customers; driving sales and enhancing the best in class customer experiences whilst displaying a passion for the heart of what our client does as a British Handmade furniture manufacturer.
You will have at least 1 year retail sales experience within a high-end / luxury brand and you will have a high standard of customer service skills - understanding what excellent service is and how to provide this to the customer so that they are happy to use the client's services and products again.
You will be happy to work rota-based shifts (Monday to Friday between 9am - 8pm / Saturday between 9am - 6pm / Sunday between 11am - 5pm) (37 hours per week / 5 days per week). Generally you will get 1 full weekend off per month.

You will receive a guaranteed salary for the first year of £18,000 along with the opportunity to add to this with commission and performance based bonuses. First year on target earnings are projected to be between £21k and £25k however their top earners bring in over £30k per annum.

What the role will involve:
Actively take advantage of all sales opportunities by presenting and discussing various handmade product options based upon your discovery of the prospective customers' lifestyle, needs and goals
Achieve set targets for orders and sales, margins, furniture protection and payment options
Deliver effective and productive customer experiences and to build customer loyalty promoting our client's brand
Lead by example interacting with customers on the sales floor and observe shopping behaviours and customer experiences
Promote a customer care approach delivering high level satisfaction through to investigating complaints through NPS or issues of poor customer care, both timely and efficiently
Assist customers in financing, purchasing, delivery and ultimate satisfaction
Complete store administration including the processing of order confirmation in an accurate and timely manner
Responsible buddy for the successful on boarding of new Sales Consultants
Maintain high levels of visual merchandising and housekeeping standards in alignment with Health & Safety legislation
Proactively increase personal knowledge of products, (REACH) sales techniques and promotions through continuous professional training and development
Quick learner with the ability and desire to work collaboratively in a team environment
Perform other ad hoc duties as required
