Health Care Assistants

Health Care Assistants urgently needed to help in North Cornwall (Launceston, Callington, Liskeard, Looe, and Bodmin). These shifts include days and nights and require flexibility. Night Carers please apply!

The work varies from residential & nursing homes to one to one community help and support.

The salary ranges from £8.25 - £9.50 per hour. You pick and choose your hours, that's the flexibility of working with a recruitment agency!

The ideal candidate will need to have:

• One year minimum experience within Health Care
• DBS Check within the last year
• NVQ/Diploma/Care Certificate
• Manual Handling Training (can be provided)
• Safeguarding Training (can be provided)
• Driving License and own vehicle will give you further opportunities for work!

Immediate starts for Health Care Assistants with a valid DBS certificates and current training in Manual Handling and Safeguarding (will need certificates). We can process a DBS for you and we also offer training if this does not apply

Ideally you will have knowledge of health & safety in the workplace, along with an understanding of the safeguarding of vulnerable adults and the elderly. You will be compassionate and have a genuine interest in the well-being of people. Candidates with NQV Level 2&3 please apply.

You will need to be committed to providing high quality care and have strong interpersonal skills and empathy towards our clients. Be a team player and able to work using your own initiative.
